The website is linked to the housing allocation system that is used by SVH; in this case the WMS (Housing Matching System) from NCCW. Essentially, the software from Joh. Enschedé IT & Consultancy also links with other primary systems. The link enables presenting the actual housin supply from house hunters directly into the primary system.
Together with the web application an Extranet was developed through which an employee of a housing association can add extra information like photos, maps, and information about the complex, the surroundings and new building developments; all in an easy and user-friendly manner. SVH is able to manage the communicated content entirelyon its own.
With this new website, SVH aims at realizing fewer days of vacany, a more satisfied customer and better feedback. That his why the website gives the house hunters a better insight in their own possibilities and also improves the provision of information about houses and general information.
Joh. Enschedé IT & Consultancy has completed the main project well within the specified time frame. This gave SVH the opportunity to build extra functionalities in the web application before the date of completion. The project is realised within the budgets made available and the launch of the website on March 3 proceeded without problems, despite the extremely great public interest.
Jolanda Hogeboom, Manager director of SVH:
"SVH commissioned Joh. Enschedé IT & Consultancy to do the development and building of the website. SVH is very content about the cooperation and the professional work manner Joh. Enschedé IT & Consultancy employed during the realisation of the new website."
With the realisation of this web application for SVH, Joh. Enschedé IT & Consultancy has substantially strengthened its position in the market of housing associations. In 2007, Joh. Enschedé IT & Consultancy developed a similar web application for Woonnet Rijnmond in the Rotterdam area. This website www.woonnet-rijnmond.nl shows the actual housing supply of 22 housing associations in the Rijnmond region.
